AIMS & OBJECTIVESA Diploma sits amongst the higher level of qualifications that students can reach in Makeup Artistry in Australia. It aims to equip students with the skills, knowledge and outlook necessary for success working as a professional Makeup Artist in their chosen field of the entertainment and multimedia industry. It covers practically every aspect of makeup artistry that you'll need to know while on location.
COURSE DURATIONThe Diploma course has approximately 490 class contact hours, 160 hours of out of class project work and 40 hours of out of class practical work (total 690 hours). Unlike some other colleges, we do not break for the traditional school holidays, semester breaks and mid-semester breaks. Diploma of Makeup is offered on both a full time and part time (after hours) basis.
COURSE FUNDINGVarious government agencies provide funding for the full time Diploma course (for example, Austudy, Youth Allowance, Abstudy and the Pensioner Education Supplement).
Other forms of government funding are also available, depending on your circumstances. In addition, the Academy offers students interest free payment plans to assist with fee payments.

GOVERNMENT ACCREDITATIONOur Diploma of Makeup is fully government accredited, which means that the qualification you receive is recognised by the industry Australia-wide.
