AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

For the professional Makeup Artist, using an airbrush to apply makeup is a fantastic alternative to conventional makeup application. 

The airbrush is now increasing in popularity both among professional Makeup Artists and among the public. 

So, from a professional point of view, it is essential for all Makeup Artists to understand and master this piece of equipment.

The Academy of Makeup Airbrush Course begins with the basics, such as product knowledge and equipment maintenance. 

Following on from this, the course introduces students to some simple airbrush techniques and then moves into more advanced aspects of makeup artistry using the airbrush.

Students cover airbrush makeup for TV, Bridal Makeup, body-art, stencilling, tattooing and tanning.


DURATION

The Airbrush Course consists of approximately 48 class contact hours.  It is offered on a full time (day) and also after hours basis. 

A pre-requisite to studying this course is successful completion of training at least to Certificate II in Makeup Services.

You are already studying makeup and want to build on your current skills to ensure that you are one step ahead of your competition when you graduate! 

The Airbrush Course is also a great refresher for current working Makeup Artists who have not previous learnt airbrush, but who wish to add it to their areas of expertise.
